Saturday, September 6Event One: Breakfast 8:00amWe jump start with a big Group Breakfast Saturday morning at 8am at the Holiday Inn (host hotel) for their free breakfast bar (those not staying at the host hotel can participate for $4.95 per person), followed by a 45 minute cruise to Rockford and V8-Archies. Event Two: V8 Archie Open House 11:00amThe time has arrived for the ever-popular V8 Archie annual Open House his
workshop in Machesney Park, IL. This event will take place on Fierorama Saturday, September
6th
starting at 11:00am with a catered lunch beginning around 12:00 noon. V8
Archie's 8,400 square foot shop is located near Rockford, IL in Machesney
Park. The address is: 11411 Summerwood, Machesney Park, IL
61115. V-8 Archie has been producing, selling and installing his V-8 conversion kits for the Fiero since 1987 - for more years than Pontiac even produced the Fiero! Come on out and see what's new at V-8 Archie's in addition to his new shop - like his Red and White V-8 Powered GT 40. Come and get the details of Archie's Finale and Fino kit cars along with the LT1 Stinger. There are in excess of 1,500 V-8 Archie Fieros on the roads of the world today. These Fieros are currently running the streets in all 50 states, Canada, Central America, Europe, as well as the Middle East and elsewhere. So, if you missed this event in previous years, here is your chance to attend. If you arrive early or stay late, you will have an opportunity to take a ride in a V-8 Fiero (weather permitting). V8 Archie will have 3 or 4 of his cars there, several customers will have their cars present as well, and there will be several "designated drivers" available to take you for a test drive. If you want to see what Archie has been up to this past year, come on out again. V-8 Archie offers three V-8 conversion kits - the Economy Kit starts at $950.00. V-8 Archie can explain the difference between this kit, the Deluxe Kit ($1,550.00) and the Master Build Kit ($3,150.00 for stick shift and $2,950.00 for automatic). Plan on enlightening yourself to the Fiero V-8, kit car possibilities, the newly introduced LS1 conversion kit, and the Big Brakes Kit (now available for '88 Fieros, too). V-8 Archie can be reached at 800-891-3608 or 815-282-9226, via email at v8archie@v8archie.com, or visit his website at http://www.v8archie.com.

Registration for non-NIFE members is only $10.00 or become a NIFE member for $25 and receive the award winning Fiero Focus magazine for the balance of 2008 and all of 2009 and attend Fierorama for FREE. You and your fellow Fiero owners vote to choose the Fieros that are the best examples in each category. This is also the event at which the Midwest Fiero Clubs will select the "Best Original 1988 Fiero in the Midwest", the culmination of a summer long show circuit. It's always fun to win something and our sponsors and members have provided lots of door prizes to be given away. This day is the last of two days of Fiero fun and friends, getting acquainted with new ones and socializing with old ones, all connected by a dedication to Preserving The Excitement of that special little car, the Fiero. So even if you couldn't take part in any of the Saturday activities, come and join in the camaraderie of Fierorama. This is truly the ultimate Fiero show that you do not want to miss!
